<p>Louisville, Ky. (September 29, 2010) — Jim Moore has been named chief financial officer of 21<sup>st</sup> Century Parks, the nonprofit corporation leading the creation and  management of The Parklands of Floyds Fork, a nearly 4,000-acre public  parks system along the Floyds Fork watershed.</p>
<p>Moore brings extensive experience managing professional services for large, multi-national companies.  He comes to 21<sup>st</sup> Century Parks from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a professional services  firm that provides audit, tax and advisory services, where he most  recently served as a senior manager in their national office.</p>
<p>During his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Moore participated in  more than $50 billion in capital raising activities and managed and  advised clients in many industries around the world.  He worked in eight  different PricewaterhouseCoopers offices, including Atlanta, Detroit,  Cleveland, Knoxville, Lexington, Louisville and the firm’s national  office in Florham Park, NJ.</p>
<p>At 21<sup>st</sup> Century Parks, Moore will oversee all finances,  risk management, strategic planning, human resources and  administration.  In addition, he will have an active role in operations  and construction of The Parklands of Floyds Fork.</p>
<p>Moore graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky with a  bachelor’s degree in accounting.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in  Kentucky and several other states and a member of the American  Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a current member and  former director of the Jefferson County, University of Kentucky Young  Alumni Association and former chairman of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon House  Corporation at the University of Kentucky. Moore is also a lifetime  member of the National Eagle Scout Association.</p>

<p>The 2010 Inc.credible Awards Announces Winners</p>
<p>Winners of the 2010 Inc.credible Awards  were announced at the GLI Celebration of Small Business Luncheon  sponsored by Fifth Third Bank Louisville, September 15, 2010 – The  Greater Louisville Inc. Celebration of Small Businesses Luncheon was  held today to recognize our region’s outstanding small businesses with  the 2010 Inc.credible Awards. The ceremony was held in the<br />
Archibald Cochran Ballroom at the Galt House from 11:30am to 2:00pm  today and was sponsored by Fifth Third Bank. The awards were presented  to small Louisville businesses that exhibited an extraordinary  contribution to our community’s<br />
prosperity. This year, award categories were refined and redeveloped to  recognize specific areas of business that are of increasing importance  in our changing<br />
economy.</p>
<p>The “Small Business of the Year Award,” presented by Northwestern  Mutual, went to Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Kentuckiana. BBBS  received their second award for 42 years of service to our local  children through professional one-to-one<br />
mentoring programs that have been proven to help children reach their full potential.</p>
<p>The “Very Small Business of the Year Award,” presented by Humana,  went to 21st Century Parks, a non profit organization with a fresh  vision on the development and preservation of community parks.</p>
<p>The “Innovation/Technology Utilization Award.” presented by  ChamberBid, went to Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Kentuckiana for  linking their data system with the JCPS tracking system which allows  volunteers to use academic reports to better<br />
serve children in the program.</p>
<p>The “Greening/Sustainability Award,” present by PNC Bank, went to  Nu-Yale Cleaners, a family owned cleaning and textile restoration  company, for being Kentuckiana’s only 5-star environmental drycleaner.</p>
<p>The “International/Global Award,” presented by Aspect, went to GBBN  Architects for utilizing its various locations throughout the world to  gain market expertise on a global scale.</p>
<p>The “Inclusion Award,” presented by Main Source Bank, went to TKT  &amp; Associates,Inc., a company that is 100 percent woman and minority  owned for its mission to expand diversity in all aspects of their  business.</p>
<p>The “Phoenix Award,” presented by Louisville Magazine, went to C.I.  Agent Solutions, a specialty environmental chemical company, for their  development of a solution that can be used to contain hydrocarbon  pollutions. The company was asked to assist in the BP Deepwater Oil  Spill where their solution was used for oil<br />
containment.</p>
<p>Lastly, the “Transformation Force Award,” presented by Try It Local,  went to The Community Foundation of Louisville (CFL) for building a  permanent philanthropic endowment program for the Louisville metro  region and for their development of the Change Makers Grant Partnership  which will award $1.8 million in seed funding to four inner-city  Louisville neighborhoods.</p>

<p>21st Century Parks, the nonprofit group overseeing the parks  project in the Floyds Fork corridor, will receive the Place Maker Award  from the Foundation for Landscape Studies. Parks officials, along with  donors and other supporters, will travel to New York for the awards  ceremony on May 19.</p>
<p>The award is presented annually and recognizes “design imagination  and horticultural skill to create a garden or park of exceptional  beauty,” according to the foundation.</p>
